Veggie Cheese Toast is an easy toast recipe that can be quickly made for breakfast or served as a snack. It mainly consists of cheese, tomato, your choice of veggies and herbs on toasted bread. The crispy bread and melted cheese will make you crave for this yummy toast at any time of the day.
This can also be a quick snack in kids’ lunch boxes. So, test-drive them all with your little eaters and I am sure it will be a hit!
Prep time - 5 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Serves - 4
Ingredients:
White bread slices - 4
Shredded Cheese - 1/2 cup (Mozzarella or Cheddar)
Tomato - 1 very (finely chopped, seeds removed)
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red Bell peppers - 3 tbsp chopped
Coriander Leaves - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Pepper - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Method of Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a bowl, add the cheese, tomatoes, bell peppers, garlic paste, coriander leaves, olive oil, pepper and salt and mix well.
Spread the mix evenly on each slice. Place the bread slices on a baking tray and bake till the cheese melts and the bread slices gets crisp, usually takes around 6-8 minutes.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
